Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to retake the study of the role played by hetairas in comedy, especially in the light of some fragmentary plays. Our study will be divided into three parts, old, middle and new comedy, so that similitudes and differences in the hetairas’ role can be fully appreciated.Downloads
