“Phonometric sequences” in ancient Greek: general overview, some special features and problems of authenticity
Abstract
The proportions of sounds (“phonometry”) are studied in ancient Greek and, more particularly, in different authors of the classical period by counting the 24 different letters that are in their texts to try to draw conclusions about their particular “profile” and the authenticity of some disputed works.
