Abstract

The different sources of origin of the audiovisual information used in the news of the Canal Extremadura TV newscasts are analyzed. For this, a direct observation has been carried out on a tasting of news programs at different times, studying the news sources on different days and times, also carrying out an analysis of the results according to the thematic block within the program: national, regional and sports. Once the information is systematized, the data is extracted and systematized in graphs that give us a clear visualization that the sources used are mainly those coming from the chain itself and from the production company CBM.
