Scientific production about university radio (Scopus, 2000-2017)
Abstract
The phenomenon of university broadcasting has existed for almost a century since its first experiences at universities in the United States and Argentina, but this fact does not correspond to the research carried out on the subject. The objective of the present study is to identify and analyze the scientific production on university radio published in journals indexed in Scopus database in the period 2000-2017 through different bibliometric indicators. The results show that there is a scarce bibliographic production (47 documents), which is maintained throughout the analyzed period and is clearly increasing in the last five years, likewise the majority of documents are grouped in American, Spanish and Latin American institutions. One of the main conclusions is that there is a growing interest in Spain in this topic of research coinciding with the creation of the Asociación de Radios Universitarias de España (ARU).Downloads
