La investigación en Recuperación de Información: Revisión de tendencias actuales y críticas
Abstract
Two paradigms have marked research in Information Retrieval. The first paradigm focused in algorithms design and Information Retrieval Systems, and, the second, focused in all factors that have and effect on user in information search process.
This article revised characteristics and current trends in research in both paradigms, analyzing criticisms than these paradigms have received related to different methodology and difficulty to define relevance and to measure changes derived from mental state of user.
