Abstract

The existence and objectives of the Regional Centre for the safeguarding of the intangible heritage of Latin America (CRESPIAL) are part of an international effort to the interior of Latin America to share concerns and resources in the tasks of international cultural heritage, from project identification and registration of the musical heritage of communities in countries of the region, as well as training opportunities for professional teams in techniques and methods of recording sound and visual. Also discusses the scope and goals of the calls on the Member countries of the CRESPIAL open to receive records of intangible latinoamerican incultural heritage, in the form of contests and banks, in order to develop collections of audio-visual records of free access across networks and information and communication technologies. The approach for the safeguard of the musical heritage, cultural and sound in general, see unpublished and documents at risk of disappearing in the living culture and the same members of the communities; to avoid their loss; proposed basic principles for the work of identification and collection of audiovisual records and information from information management (documentation) of cultural expressions, to the interior of the cultural spaces where they belong and are manifested.
