Donde las palabras no alcanzan: violencia y feminicidio
Abstract
In the face of violence against women, thanks to feminism, a myriad of rules have been generated that try to put a limit on it. However, this violence does not stop. For feminism, violence against women is nothing other than the consequence of the male’s domination imposed by the patriarchal culture. But today, in Western democracies, it is impossible to continue to uphold the myth of the dominant male that is typical of the patriarchal era. Nowadays, we witnessing the decline of the virile concomitant to the fall of the Father. The actual violence against women can not be explained by the patriarchal system but also can not be by the fall of the Father, because this violence has have existed in every period. The real issue is not the Father but the misunderstanding between the enjoyments. Meanwhile the phallic jouissance is focused on the object’s appropriation, that can be located, named, measured, the non phallic enjoyment, named by Lacan female, that can be experienced also by some men, is presented without measurements, irreducible, not only to an organ but to the word itself. In the face of the anguish caused by the real of the enjoyment Other that can not be symbolise, male violence is an pathological and forced try of achieve that unmentionable enjoyment. The passage to the violent act comes in the place of a word impossible to say. Faced with the recourse to the violent act that short-circuits the word, psychoanalysis is an invitation to put into words this enjoyment that disturbs every speaking being. Not to say everything, which is impossible, but to do with this impossible to say something other than the destruction of the other and/or self-destruction.
