Women in Moroccan rural environment: a study of the women’s alphabetization case in the rural outskirt of Asila
Abstract
This article is divided in three parts. In the first part, some aspects connected with women’s status of Moroccan rural circle are analyzed: family organization, average age of marriage, schooling, work, birth rate, etc. The second part offers a panoramic on the feminine illiteracy in rural environment, with a special reference to the region of Tangiers-Tetuan where the basic fieldwork for the last part of this article has been realised, that gathers the results of a survey carried out between 168 women who were doing alphabetization courses in four rural communes of the Outskirt of Asila.Downloads
