Documentary contribution to pre-colonial Moroccan history

Abstract

One of the most argued historical eras among researchers is the contemporary one. The same fact happens with Moroccan pre-colonial history. The geographical and cultural definition of the Soltanian sovereignty and the relationship between state institutions and local consuetudinary ones, elite Shorafa, Sada and the interventionist form of the international treaties signed with the Sultan are factors which invite a rereading of history on the basis of Moroccan documents.
