Ṭāhar al-Ḥaddād's journalistic work: between nationalism, trade unionism and female emancipation
Abstract
Tunisian author Ṭāhar al-Ḥaddād (1899-1935) is known for his contribution to issues such as trade unionism, female emancipation or nationalism, to which he devoted most of his works. His books, often considered to be foundational and key elements to the Tunisian reformist movement, have attracted the most attention to the author, who was also engaged in press. This aspect of his production is the main aim of the following article, in which I will focus in his papers related to nationalism, trade unionism and female emancipation.
