A Swiss network along Clara Campoamor’s road towards Buenos Aires: her friendship with Antoinette Quinche
Abstract
This work aims at highlighting the importance of Clara Campoamor's Swiss stop on her road to Argentina. Her friendship with Antoinette Quinche and the networks developed in the Swiss Confederation open a new phase that she will develop in Buenos Aires. La revolución española vista por una republicana (The Spanish revolution as seen through the eyes of a republican woman) is an original text that will be the first link in a series of legal analyses that Campoamor will write in Argentina. The Swiss network will also allow her to analyze other legal systems and to expand her legal perspectives in the Argentine Jurisprudence Review. Switzerland was more than a stop on the road: it opens new possibilities and inaugurates a new and very fruitful phase in Campoamor’s work.
