Rubén Darío at the AECID: the correspondence of Leonidas Pallares and Leopoldo Díaz
Abstract
The Hispanic Library of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID) preserves a Rubén Darío Archive in Madrid. This article explores the correspondence sent to the Nicaraguan poet by the Ecuadorian Leonidas Pallares and the Argentinean Leopoldo Diaz in the first years of the twentieth century. The analyzed autographs help us to increase both our knowledge of Rubén Darío’s biography and the relations that back then were established between the Latin-American writers living in Europe.Downloads
