Abstract

This article discusses the possibility of to analyse the studies about the street vendors’ commerce in latin-american countries like Brazil through of the new cultural geography. Our approach is that the analysis based in the work’s economy or sociology are not sufficient to explain the growth that this kind of commerce has been having as well as its social and cultural consequences. That the cultural studies can show new approaches over an old subject.
