Discursos, propuestas y acciones sobre la ciudad postindustrial
Abstract
More than any other kind of city, old industrial cities subject to productive reconversion and urban regeneration actions show the importance of political discourse and power in the definition of alternative models of urban development. The challenge they face is how to overcome industrialism and increase tertiarisation, while trying to reactivate pan of the industrial heritage. This paper analyses this complex process of change and territory management, taking as empiric reference the city of Avilés (Asturias, Spain).Downloads
