Abstract
This article aims to demonstrate that the work of Jean Giono as screenwriter of Platero y Yo was faithful to the writing and thinking of Juan Ramón Jiménez, as well as to his own principles regarding the conciliation and protection power of some given plant specimens. In that way The Crown Pine of Platero y yo will become a giant of Nature in the same way as it happened to many other plant specimens in his own writing, as symbols of perpetual revival.Downloads
