Abstract
This article deals with a metric specificity of certain French epic poems : the “orphan” hexasyllable. This study will lead us to show how this kind of verse in the Garin de Monglane's Song in the 14th century manuscript BL Royal 20 D XI turns out original in an epic production usually considered on the decline, and how it questions some statements on it.Downloads
