Le message de Andrée Chedid
Abstract
Andrée Chedid is a peculiar French-speaking writer. She has crossed over the XXth century and she belongs according to her origins and her education to the Orient and to the Occident. She harmonizes Thélème. Her faith in Humanity turns her literary work into an example of fraternity and humanism. The Message is a novel published in 2000 by Flammarion. The Message talks about the victims of all wars under the skin of Marie, a young woman shooted by a sniper. The characters that will be crossing by in the story will plot with their personal story, their lives and the movement of spontaneous solidarity. They will be questioning about their identity, the sense of their lives, the sense of the lives of the others, love and hatred, the folly of the wars that come back ever and ever. Their particular and anonymous story recreates the universal History and, what is the worst, nowadays. The reader feels even more the proximity of the events because of the absence of a precise place and time. The introspection into the thoughts and the feelings of the characters approach the reader to the story and he feels sniped and aimed. Despite everything, love wins but the price is life.Downloads
