Abstract
The article summarises Ahmadou Koutouma's biography and work. Next, it analyses his style taking as starting point his latest novel Allah n'est pas obligé. This syntactic and semantic analysis deduced from the comparison of the def inition of the adjective féerique and the verb accoutrer, given by the narrator, and their def initions found in the Larousse dictionary. Once the examples are f inished the conclusion drawn is: Ahmadou kourouma transfers his African thought and his spirit of committed writer to the French language, breaking all the established moulds and turning him into one of the most important authors of African literature.Downloads
