The voices of Goya's legends. Study of the engravings in "Si" + clause
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to show the underlying voices of 4 engravings by Goya from the Caprices and The Disasters of War whose legend has a syntactic construction in Si + clause. We will study how Goya manages to involve the spectator in the images he builds. The painter summons several frameworks of discourse in his engravings which represent at least two opposing universes.
