Abstract

By postulating that riddles are regular discursive forms, whose structural analysis is likely to reveal linguistics properties (syntactics, lexicals and semantics), as well as figural, symbolic and ethnolinguistic characteristics, we propose a pluri-dimensional analysis for this particular discursive genre, in order to understand, and present, the underlying mechanism of their construction.
