Using Moodle to open a FSL classroom in hetero-direction context
Abstract
This article introduces ICT in a French as a Second Language (FSL) course of the Technological University of Paraná centered on opening the possibilities of choice offered to the learner in terms of learning. An A2-B1 course has been proposed with 25% of the classroom time relocated in a computer lab. It shows how the use of Moodle, as a platform of curation of resources and reflexive tasks, allows to introduce a micro self-learning system in this institution very much anchored in the traditional paradigm of heterodirection. The analysis presents the data collected thanks to the use of this platform by the learners (tasks, logbooks and projects). The aim is contribute to the dissemination of ICT ressources as a way to focus on the task of learning and letting learn instead of systematically teaching.
