Unspoken words in film dialogue
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyse the effect how some manifestations affect film dialogue by leading progressively from unintentional silence to communicative refusal: psychological troubles, shared background, conversational taboos, or self-preservation draw an outline of the field of the unspoken, which is often more informative than uttered speech.Downloads
