Contradictions of the university democratization in Latin America. The modernization of the Ecuadorian university and the intensification of work
Abstract
The present work is an approach to the situation of universities in Ecuador through their working conditions. It carries out a case study to inquire into the changing scenario of higher education, focusing on psychosocial risks as the touchstone that unites organizational elements with work welfare. Combining quantitative and qualitative techniques, it approaches to the experiences of actors and gives them a voice.
