Abstract

The resolution of Richard's paradox is key in the development of Weyl's predicativist system. In this paper, we analyse the treatment of it in different texts by the author. In addition, we consider definability and numerability –fundamental aspects of the paradox– in relation to the notions extensionally definite and indefinitely extensible concepts. We also try to answer to what extent these notions can be applied to the set of natural numbers and to the set of Weylian reals.
