Abstract

This paper is an approach to the deep relationship of Nietzsche with language from three different perspectives: the philosophical, the philological and the poetical. The observations presented allude to the interest of the philosopher for rhetoric, the philologist for style and the poet for lyricism. The article also considers basic questions related to Nietzsche’s writing, such as musicality, rhythm, tone, metaphor and the dialogical character of his texts.
