Democracia deliberativa: una apuesta por el valor epistémico de la deliberación pública
Abstract
Against the political liberal system, based on the aggregation of egoistic interests, the writers of the Deliberative Democracy defend the epistemic superiority of the deliberation as the decision making method. In my article I pretend to treat some of the fundamental questions concerning the Deliberative Democracy as one epistemic theory. First, I will analyze the main elements of the epistemic superiority of the deliberation. Then, I will expose the different forms trough the writers articulate the epistemic value of the deliberation in their proposals. Finally, I will explain the challenges of this epistemic conception of democracy to achieve the prospects of this new decision making process.Downloads
