Normas y valores en la ciencia bajo un enfoque naturalizado
Abstract
The concepts of “scientific practice” and their “axiological structure” are analyzed. A hypothesis is put forward to account for the fact that practices with different axiological structures may be successful. It is argued that the distinction between practices on the basis of their axiological structures may solve problems where concepts such as “the institutional structure of science”, “the ethos of science” or “paradigm” fail. Conditions under which sensory experience may justify empirical beliefs are also discussed.Downloads
