Filosofía, literatura y verdad (aproximación crítica al textualismo de Rorty)
Abstract
Richard Rorty has made popular the postmodern capitulation of philosophy in favour of literature. For him, the traditional efforts of philosophers and scientists to go more beyond o nearer language in search of the truth outside time, contingency and chance, have failed. Therefore, he proposes a postphilosophical culture in which a role of a new cultural tendency is assumed by poets and novelists. In view of all this, in this article, I reconstruct the fundamental hypothesis wich justifies that capitulation –the textualism– and I put forward epistemological reasons which show up its inssufficient and inadequate nature.Downloads
