Abstract

Most of the analyses of the current cyber societies based on the work of Deleuze and Guattari conceive them exclusively as control societies and machine servitude. The reason of this interpretation is because they use a concept that is valid only for first-order cybernetics. This article explains how non-trivial machines conceived by second-order cybernetics allow the development of the most socially emancipatory aspects of the deleuzian-guattarian machinic ontology, which avoids the need to oppose the cybernetic societies.
