Abstract

Biomedical investigation law regulates for the first time in Spain the use of biological samples and genetic analyses. With regard to the latter, ample development is included, in its clinical aspect as well as in investigation, demanding rigorous information from citizens and allowing them ample control of health data. The author reveals and interprets requirements of the law in this matter showing new aspects which are included in relation to preceding juridical ordinance and making a criticism of some of its contents.
