Abstract

Conservation cadaveric phenomena could be very helpful to the forensic physician to reveal important aspects such as the cause of death and to proceed in cadaveric identification. In the present case, an individual's disappearance was reported in February, and the cadaver was found in October of the same year when land was being excavated. The cadaver presented an adipocerous transformation, which was a helpful key in identifying the cause of death.
