Resistance in sexuality education formation: creating possibilities from heterotopias
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze the Sexuality Education Videocurse as a counter space intertwined with the elements of Foucault's heterotopies in order to discuss some strategies of resistance to the advances of the front against “gender ideology”. The analyzes aimed to articulate the Videocurso to the elements of heterotopy in order to discuss the points of resistance located in this space. After analysis it was noted that the Videocourse is a space for formation of education professionals in sexuality education permeated by the elements of heterotopias. This instrument allows the creation of other possibilities to the performing of projects and practices related to the following themes: bodies, genders and sexualities in to the educational curriculum, thus constituting forms of resistance to the advances of the conservative front.
