Con un pie en la senda del desarrollo sostenible: el gran desafío necesita una estrategia
Abstract
Drawing from the analysis of an environmentally, and socially, unsustainable development pattern, the author introduces the “Strategies for Sustainable Development” (SSD), as a vehicle in the path towards sustainable development. SSD seek to embody a wide scope of actors and actions that take the shape of alive and dynamic participatory processes to nurture and lead a solid social consensus and set up a strategic, context-specific response to the challenges of sustainability. With the support of a steady political will, and articulated through some principles suggested in this article, SSD could foster a catalyst effect in favour of sustainable development.
