Democracia y gobernabilidad: una compleja pero necesaria relación
Abstract
Good governance and democracy are bounded by complex connections: in some areas they tend to be conflictive whereas in others there seem to exist complementarity as long as there is a strike balance between legitimacy, effectiveness and stability in the process of political exercise. The article explores such connections and how development co-operation can contribute to harness democracy and good governance as vectors of development.
