El “postdesarrollo” como concepto y práctica social
Abstract
In this classic essay that we are reproducing, Arturo Escobar declares the need of radically re-think the development and the modernity, accepting that these concepts belong to the past and that it is necessary to surpass it. We cannot think anymore about unique and universal paths that turn into an unique model, but in multiplicity ways that turn into multiple and varied situations. The social movements in the last decade are a signal that shows the fight is already in it’s way.
