El creciente papel de las instituciones financieras de desarrollo en la promoción del crecimiento de los países menos avanzados; modelos institucionales
Abstract
In the last decade, the Development Financial Institutions (DFI) had become key players in development finance complementing traditional aid flows of development agencies. Focusing on economic growth, DFI uses refundable financial instruments to support local private sector in less-developed countries. In Spain, the creation of FONPRODE opens new possibilities for work in financial cooperation, in a similar way as they have done for years DFI in Europe. This article intends to show some of the best practices of the DFI and draw lessons for the FONPRODE in the future.
