In order to face challenges posed by the negative effects of globalization, many international actors have implemented processes, policies and institutions with the aim to regulate and lead development cooperation, in the frame of the so-called world governance exercise. Under the perspective that the status of the agenda of international development cooperation is the result of the governance level of this aid instrument, this article summarizes the most representative activities of the world development agenda during the first months of 2013. The paper stated that considering the modest activities and results obtained during this period, it is clear that aid governance is a complex task to achieve.
