A Brand New Start: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. International Cooperation during the first semester of the year 2016
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the most relevant events that breathed life into the new global development agenda from October 2015 until early May 2016. The central argument of this article is that the history of development has entered a new stage thanks to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. However, national and global efforts to achieve the goals within are facing both structural and cyclical complications.
