Imaginaries on development in Latin America: between emancipation and adaptation to capitalism
Abstract
This article aims to discuss the struggles about the imaginaries of development in Latin America, towards the tension between autonomy / emancipation and adhesion / adaptation to capitalist development. The aim is to analyze how these imaginaries are created, resignified and constested in different historical moments from theoretical-discoursive irruptions, but also practical-political ones.
