Abstract

The launch of the Millenium Development Goals and the Global Compact of the United Nations, set up a reconsideration of the role of the private sector in international cooperation. Around this, it comes out a literature that looks for the best ways for public-private collaboration. In that sense, it becomes relevant to identify the way in which private sector will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and particularly to exemplify this through the mexican experience with the recent creation of the Mexican Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AMEXCID) and the Sustainability Alliance.
