From social class to exclusion… and back. An approach to the contemporary renewal of the debate on social inequality
Abstract
This article proposes a brief review of some prominent features of the current analysis of inequality and a diagnosis of some of its challenges through a succinct cataloguing of three of the most lively debates about the nature of the stratification dynamics in the post-neoliberal societies: the polemic about the middle classes, the precariat hypothesis and the debate about the nature of social participation.
