The unequal impact of the 2008 crisis: The effects caused between men and women in the Economically Active Population
Abstract
This study, through a review of activity and employment data from Mexico, analyzes the effects of the 2008 crisis, which led to a loss of the occupied Economically Active Population; however, this detriment was unequal, because, women’s work showed losses, while men’s work grew.
