Abstract

The strategic vision of the Buenos Aires Action Plan (PABA) is reaffirmed in the 2030 Agenda with a strong political force. The PABA has revitalized the narrative of development promotion as the primary objective of international cooperation. The renewal of the principles of South-South Cooperation (SSC) promotes a contemporary reflection on the purpose of the whole cooperation for development. The article also presents the Brazilian experience related to the application of the central principles of the PABA to its SSC.
