Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyse the most relevant events of the global development and international cooperation agenda from October 2018 to November 2019. Among the most representative phenomena of the year, different experiences were detected where, within the framework of the offer of international aid, it was provided for political purposes, rather than solidarity aims. On the other hand, plenty aid exercises and finance were implemented to face different fragile contexts (humanitarian crises, forced migration, etc.). These phenomena reduced capacities and resources to adequately address the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals, in terms of “leaving no one behind”.
