Abstract
This article addresses the financing of the cooperation policy and foreign action of the European Union one year after the entry into force of the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument – Global Europe (NDICI – Global Europe). Global Europe is adopted in a complex international context that determines its scope: simplifying the EU's external financing architecture, achieving greater coherence with its strategic objectives and granting flexibility to face emerging challenges.
