Abstract

This article aims to analyze the opportunities and limitations for the joint development of the commercial sectors of the border territory that make up the cities of Posadas (belonging to the province of Misiones, in Argentina) and Encarnación (belonging to the department of Itapúa, Paraguay). ; by characterizing the competitiveness between the commercial sectors of both cities; the systematic description of the barriers faced by those actors who are going to join this competitiveness; and the evaluation of the actions and claims that contribute or limit competitive development in such a complex scenario.
