Building new alliance towards food security and good governance or natural resources: The experience of SAGE’s agreement
Abstract
This article describes the experience of the Convention “Contribution to food security and environmental governance (SAGE) in Senegal, Gambia and Guinea Bissau”. This initiative is leaded by the Foundations Solidaridad Internacional, HABITÁFRICA and IPADE through the innovative creation of the Temporary Association of Organizations (ATO-SAGE). This article describes the bet of a common and comprehensive collaboration between northern and southern organizations, in order to achieve the gradual and accelerated implementation of the right to food.
