Abstract

Beef production is an essential part of the Spanish livestock frame. Nevertheless, the available produce neither corresponds to the consumer’s requirements nor to the primary producer’s needs, in some cases. By an analysis of consumption information and considering the farmer perspective, it’s expected to evaluate the current situation of this sector and to focus on first quality beef production and promotion.
