El malestar actual de la antropología o de la casi imposibilidad de pensar lo ideológico

Abstract

Since 70' a discontent process took place in Social Anthropology specially the American Anthropology, and remains up to here. This process is estated by mean of many characteristics, and among them we emphasíze the growing doubt about whom are their subjects and the following profesional and methodological anthropologist’s indetermination with respect to them. All this goes together with an usual limitation; to reduce descriptions and interpretations on problems to features and narratives of an only actor and therefore the lower or even none existent development of relational approaches. This and other process are at list partly result of a constant increase of new subjects whose characteristics settle a diferent anthropologist’s situation facing them and provides evidence about theoretical and methodological limitations. This is specially shown by those anthropological perspectives whose approach to reality is only in terms of cultural systems, and works with the idea of culture as truth, living out ideological dimention in description and interpretation of Culture.
