La libertad como desarrollo y democracia
Abstract
La libertad y sus dimensiones son un espacio privilegiado de reflexión debido a su interés filosófico, a su importancia como horizonte de sentido de las vidas que podrían disfrutar los Seres Humanos y como contraste para conocer las vidas que realmente disfrutan. En la contemporaneidad se analiza la libertad fundamentalmente desde la perspectiva del institucionalismo transcendental abstracto que hace poco operativo el análisis y dificulta la capacidad de contribuir a cambios en las sociedades. Por ello, este artículo tiene como objetivo ofrecer desde las ciencias sociales un marco analítico de la libertad como desarrollo y democracia, que permita comparar el ideal de sociedad libre con las sociedades que realmente existen.
